First update available

We worked hard these days, and finally made the first application update available on the market.
The updated application will allow you to set an alternative nickname despite your GMail username.
Tags are made mandatory now, so at least one tag per question should be provided.
Beside these features/changes there are few bugfixes as well.

Give it a try ;)

Posting new question

On the main panel, tap the middle button. A form for writing new question will open.

At the top of this form there is a smaller text entry field in which you can enter a short form of your question (max 100 characters). This field is mandatory as it is the one that appears in the questions list.
Optionally you may provide up to 1000 characters long description in the bigger text entry field.
If you like to add am image attachment to your question you should tap on the gallery button. The Android's gallery would be opened from where you can choose the image to be attached. To remove an image attachment open the gallery again and return by pressing the BACK button.
If your question is related to some specific location (e.g. you ask for the name of some museum), beside the image you may want to provide a location attachment. When you click on the location attachment button a map would be shown. You can reposition the map pin by touching the map. If you want to remove the location attachment select the 'Clear' option from the map's menu.

If you set an expiration date the question will not be shown after this date except if you explicitly search for it from the search module. Similarly if you set an location availability of the question the question will be shown only to users from that location (either their city/country location in preferences or their current location match the restriction).

The tags and the anonymous button are enough self-explanatory.

Main screen

The main screen is the cockpit from where you can access and organize all the informations.
On the bottom there is a panel with five buttons on it. Each of these buttons activates a separate module that organize data from a different point of interest. Additionally you can change the content of each module by choosing the appropriate content, sort and/or filter from the main menu.

MY STUFF
This is the first module (left-most button on the panel).
When this module is active you can choose to show your questions, answers or favorite tags.
When the application is started for the first time you are brought to this module, showing you one favorite tag - 'A-GLOBAL-MIND'. This is the tag where we (the authors :)) can post informations related to the application itself (e.g. link to this tutorial)

TOP QUESTIONS
This is the second module. From the  menu you can choose the period, and the criteria by which the questions should be ordered.

NEW QUESTION
There will be a separate post on this later ;)

ANSWER STATUS FILTER
In the fourth module you can switch between questions with different answer status. Unanswered questions are questions that have no answer, undecided are the one that have answers but none of them has positive rating, and the answered questions are the one that have at least one question with a positive rating.
This way you can easily find what you need, either you want to explore and learn, or you want to be the smart guy answering the questions.

SEARCH
This is the last module from the main screen, where you can either search for tags or questions.
Due to the server limitations (hey the app is free after all :)) you can only search whole words, and a word have to be at least three characters long.

First steps

The first time you install the application, you would be asked for your Google email address.
We need this address to confirm your identity and slow down spammers (if any comes on the way) in their intent to flood the network.
You would be let to use the application in a READONLY mode until you follow the link emailed to you. After the confirmation link has been hit, you can restart the application and have the full rights to post new data.

What is A-GLOBAL-MIND?

A-GLOBAL-MIND is a social network in which you can ask questions and/or provide answers.
The cool thing about it is that you have it right in your hand. It is designed specially for the mobile market, having its features like photos and locations in mind.
